SO WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU HAVE A WARRANTY ISSUE ON YOUR TIRES WHEN YOU BUY FROM AN ONLINE TIRE SOURCE?

Typically when you have a manufacturer warranty or a road hazard issue, you need to contact the purchasing dealer.  When you purchase your tires online, the Online Tire Source requires that you contact them first to evaluate your situation.  Since the tire is on your vehicle, they will refer you to an Installing Local Dealer in your area.  The Local Dealer will inspect your tire and make a determination as to whether it meets the warranty requirements.  If the dealer does not have the affected tire in stock, or is not a certified dealer for that tire brand then the Online Tire Source will need to ship a replacement tire to that Local Dealer.  You’ll hopefully be notified by email from the Online Tire Source when the replacement tire arrives at the Local dealer.  You’ll need to contact them to set up a time to install your replacement tire.  Your total replacement time will vary based on shipping times and appointment schedules at your Local Tire Dealer, but it will almost never happen on the initial visit.  In some cases you may have to pay for the replacement tire and wait for a reimbursement from the Online Tire Source while a warranty claim is filed with the manufacturer.
